Good but for my taste it is too long for the landing page itself. What about using it for this page http://dot-bit.org/Namecoin ?
In my experience many potential users will only look at the landing page when drawing a first impression. So I think the landing page should contain enough information for a user to get an idea of what Namecoin is, why they might want to use it, and a link for more information. Also, everything from Project Status and below would probably be moved to the Development page, and the portion which I wrote would have the float:left removed, so it wouldn't look as long as it is now.
EDIT: Just did some cleanup of the page... see if you still think it's too long?

Could it be it's missing some points from the old page? What about creating a list of attributes of namecoin? Please note it is not up to me to decide what goes on the wiki.
Turns out Khal had suggested putting the namecoin.info website on Github a long time ago... but as far as I can see it was never done so I did it just now: https://github.com/namecoininfo/namecoin.info I will create an extra thread for it.

Are there any improvements anyone wants me to make to the wiki draft I wrote?
Also, it might be better to put that draft on namecoin.info instead of the wiki since it's aimed at end users.
I updated the main page yesterday with the important points from your rewrite in headwords. Please let me know if there is anything else you think should go on the main page. I did not touch the "more..." page.
Also the main wikie page is now protected from editing.
Feel free to contact me on bitmessage or the irc [id/mationn]
I would like to keep all information in as little places as possible as it turns out it rots quickly and is hard to keep up to date.... so why not work on the wiki instead?

Agreed for new stuff, not so sure about rewrites of existing sites.

Thanks phelix. The draft I posted, as well as mationn's guide, are aimed more at end users than developers; I think it's probably a good idea to merge them into namecoin.info since that's the end-user-centric site.
