I have been putting off doing this for myself :D

This feature alone is enough to get me to sign up.

What are your plans for merged mining?

I will support merged mining if it has similar to original bitcoin client JSON api. ATM I'm rather skeptic regarding its real life performance. But I didn't read how it is realized nor browsed through client source code nor tested client.
I must once a week introduce brand new coin to the pool :)

Saw a lot of rejects this morning, pool rate had risen to 58GH/s, fell back to solo - now website is not loading. Overloaded?

Died for 1.5 day. Disk failure :(
Yes there was a lot of rejects but they were caused by ultra fast solving of new blocks. It takes som time to send work for all waiting in LP queque. If during that tim new block is solved ... you understand.
For comparison: after server's crash I pointed my workers to bigest SC pool and after 1.5 day of hashing I have 25-30% stales.

Back with you.

Overnight I was mining with doublec's pool - 2% reject rate. Currently seeing 0% at coinotron - we'll see how that holds up!

I'm curious too. Server is brand new, more RAM and cores.
Previously at 70GH/s I observed serious slowdowns, CPU usage 50-80%.
Currently at 30 GH/s CPU usage under 10%

A few hours later, 1 block found, rejected is 0.08% - 1 share, actually, when the block was found.

I was wondering how the "AUTO" change works. Does it switch as soon as the exchange rate is unfavourable, wait till the current block is found, or something else?

Thanks.

EDIT: Went up to 3% a few hours ago, when the pool rate was > 50 GH/s

It is very simple algorithm.
1. miner requests new work,
2. find coin with highest profitability ratio ,
3. prepare and send work for that coin
Of course I'm planning to introduce more advanced methods but now I want to listen what methods users would like to have.

PS
What miner do you use?

Mining with Diablo, through Flexible Mining Proxy.

So, when profitability ratio for solid is 0.99, you would expect all Auto workers to switch to bit? Didn't observe this.

Did you observe your own workers?
If yes, you can (by refreshing "My account" page) instantly see what shares delivers given worker.
If you are talking about pool totals, then we should consider additional factors:
1. number of active auto workers
2. 10 minutes averaging period used in poll's statistics calculation.
In this case when ratio fluctuates around 1 it will be hard to observe any dramatic changes on pool's totals level.
