I'm trying to steer some of the folks speaking there to look at Namecoin and FreeSpeechMe and Dot-Bit. I'm stressing to them that NMC is NOT a challenge to BTC, but rather a compliment to BTC. It's a tough road, but I know that at least one of the speakers at this convention is going to talk favorably about FreeSpeechMe from the podium.
My co-host, Neema Vedadi, lives in Austin, and will be at the convention. He's going to walk up to every speaker there with a video camera (not while they're speaking, lol) and ask them about / educate them on Namecoin, FreeSpeechMe and Dot-Bit. Also just going to interview the more interesting ones, and network on behalf of the Freedom Feens and FreeSpeechMe.
