Let's see if Xcode is the problem. I've sent you a PM with contact info and detailed instructions for retrieving some extra debug data.

Thanks, sent some of the info and will send the rest when I get home from work.

Sent another email with more crash info and a PM now.

Also, now that 0.3.8 is out for Windows with an ominous warning about a possible soft fork for miners, will you try a new compile anytime soon based on 0.3.8 (hopefully with these crash issues fixed)?

Thanks a lot. The data you sent me enabled me to identify the problems with some of the Intel CPUs. Seems I had got some misleading information from Apple's developer forum when compiling 0.3.76.

I'm getting ready for a 0.3.80 Mac build right now. I guess you could volunteer as one of the first testers? ;)
Anybody else prepared to test the new build (particularly someone running 10.10/Yosemite on a Core2Duo or Xeon CPU) please send me a PM.

Happy to be a guinea pig. :)

Hopefully this offer is legit, but the usual warning (unfortunately) applies -- accept binaries from unknown people at your own risk.

You are right, especially with an account with almost zero activity. I'm not a NMC user. Here is my profile Bitcointalk: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?actio ... e;u=181358
I have compiled dozens of wallet including Vertcoin.
