Yeah, it's like a 60/40 split. Yay for analytics!ryanc wrote:Hm, I actually like the rotated version a little better, but I am fine either way.

Okay, I gave up on trying to recreate the logos from scratch and used an advanced raster->vector converter. Unless you can dig up the original vector image (I can't) this will as close as anyone can get to a "perfect" reproduction. The only difference in the logo is that N is now properly centered. I can only tell the difference if I switch between an overlay of the two rapidly.

Oh, but as part of my "giving up on recreating the original" I gave up on the shaded version, you will have to rely on existing PNG's for that graphic.

No! There are right and wrong ways to go about creating a new logo, we went through this song and dance once and it led to a bunch of mediocre logos. If we are going to switch then it needs to be significantly better otherwise it just hurts brand recognition. We won't have the resources for a proper logo competition for some time so just shelve it already.phelix wrote:Can I haz vote?
I only meant to tweak of the current version so it was easier to manipulate in the vector editor.
I've got enough work on my hands rolling back all of Sudo's logo spam I don't have time for an argument amongst the core devs. I've had two of my own designs shot down, and I spent a LOT of time on that tweaked version so stop dragging this out.
