Fair enough; we can try your binaries and see how well they work for various distros. But I don't have static versions of all the other libraries used by namecoin. Therefore it is likely that the binaries won't work on other distributions.
To my knowledge we don't have an ETA yet, but progress is being made there. The Namecoin-Qt code is apparently really hard to build on OS X. There's a discussion relating to this on GitHub if I recall correctly.q9245170 wrote:When will we finally see a MacOS version of the wallet ?
