MAKE A BACKUP OF YOUR DATA DIRECTORY BEFORE RUNNING! This version will make changes to blkindex.dat that are NOT backward compatible.
Of course you should always have encrypted up to date backups of your wallet.dat file!

IMHO we are ready for a release. IMHO we can also include the latest GUI change enforcing the 520 character limit, the czech localization and my windows innosetup script (in contrib). Any objections?

It seems to be a remarkable development. :) Thanks for your efforts.
But I am not sure if I understand all details.
phelix wrote: enforcing the 520 character limit
I thought it was until now the same character limit.
phelix wrote: the czech localization
Does it mean that the Czechs can localize you or you can be localized if you are in the Czech Republic ? :D

Another strange name usage 'atomic name trading' at least for me. Does it mean atomic - 'indivisible' from the ancient Greek ?
So 'atomic name trading' would mean elementary name trading, one name trading ?
It could have been just simple 'name trading'. Or it is a hint that do you plan further development in this direction with more complex name trading and the simple 'name trading' was reserved for another form of name trading ?(if YES I find it good) Or should be used just as a general expression without reference to any specific name trading form ?

The problem is until now the system allows you to enter up to a thousand characters but will then fail on the name_update so that your name will expire. This change will make the UI prevent you from running into this issue.

Exactly. The name and the compensation transfer are indivisible in a single transaction. This got me on the wrong foot when I first heard about it, too.

It's what Antpy is about: http://forum.namecoin.info/viewtopic.php?p=11564#p11564

atomic name trading.

is this the equivalent of a domain payment and domain transfer that you get with goddaddy?
i guess in beta and comand-line for now. but sounds cool!

If there is something of a similar name at godaddy I am not aware of it. This is about doing always either both the payment and name transfer or none of them.
