how do i list all transactions?

the listtransactions command only list the last x transactions how do i see them all? i tried with the count command but must have done it wrong couse i only got empty [ ] reply.
using latest windows release

use : listtransactions "" 1000

listtransactions list only your transactions (sent or received). If you want to view all transactions you can view the block explorer

thanks that worked better, another question, how much time after doing a name_new do you have to do name firstupdate before it expires?

Note : a name_new does not reserve nor create the domain name, only a firstupdate allows it to exists.

A name_new is valid during 12'000 blocks too.
name_firstupdate and name_update too.

A name_firstupdate will be accepted in a block 12 blocks after a name_new.

ic so there could be duplicate name_news until someone does a name firstupdate for it right?
also if i forgot a name_new, but i can still see txid and an address in list transactions, can i find back to it? shouldn't the transaction list also show the name you made, like it does with firstupdate transactions.

There is no restriction on name_new, even when name is already registered with a name_firstupdate.

You need the short value that has been returned by the name_new command.

shouldn't the transaction list also show the name you made, like it does with firstupdate transactions.

It was like that some times ago. I don't know why vince removed it. Maybe people thought they registered the name with a name_new if they see it in name_list ?
