I read a strange statement in one article:
In order for the registered .bit domain to work, it is now necessary to constantly maintain my wallet of NMCs keep it running.
This is a delusion, is not it?

Maybe that here it is about that domain name can be exipered and you need no renew registration if you want to use it and don`t want to loose it.
If domain name is registered and it have enough block before exipre come, you don`t need keep it running all the time.
Where you read that ?

I Read here, the last paragraph: https://24paybank.com/news/privatnyj-do ... koina.html
...В конце скажем, что если вы приобрели анонимный домен .bit, применив хранилище криптовалюты, то после надо держать всегда кошелек открытым (он будет исполнять роль DNS сервера), чтобы онлайн-ресурс функционировал без помех.
... In the end, say that if you purchased an anonymous .bit domain using a crypto currency store, then you should always keep your wallet open (it will act as a DNS server) so that the online resource functions without interference.

1. First, do not trust all info from NOT official domains.
2. Main thing in that text is:
(он будет исполнять роль DNS сервера) / (it will act as a DNS server)
That`s why they are saing that it has to be running. If your DNS server resolv .bit, so you can close application and do not keep it running.

in order for the registered .bit domain to work...

you need to have it properly configured.

the wallet has nothing to do with this, you only need to open the wallet every 9 months or so to renew the name.

Keep in mind .bit "zeronet" and .bit "regular dns" domains are totally different things to configure and setup and browse...
