please describe again what you want to do, I don't quite follow. What backup? What device?

I take a backup of my wallet on my laptop .now I want to restore my data (domains) on my pc.
what do i do?

hi yasser,

download the software again on the new PC. Then you have to locate the folder that contains all the important namecoin files. on a PC it will likely be in a folder here...

C:\users\*\document and setting\Application Data\Namecoin (winXP i think)
or could also be here on win7...
C:\Users\*\AppData\Roaming\Namecoin


(you may have to click a setting to show hidden files and folders to reveal the application data folder.

and then.. you must replace the original wallet.dat file in this namecoin folder with your backed up wallet.dat file.
