I'm running into a small problem. I installed the Firefox extension last night, about 5PM or so. I still can't connect to any sites. Running htop shows namecoin is running, but not nmcontrol. Pretty sure I'm overlooking something obvious.
It's running on Firefox 27.0.1 on Manjaro 64

I've heard a few Linux users tell me that nmcontrol sometimes wants to be run as root. Obviously that's a bad thing, and I will be looking at ways of removing that issue. I'm not certain if that's the issue you're encountering, but it seems plausible. (I don't suggest running Firefox as root to find out; that would be a big security problem. Once I remove that issue, maybe you can retest.)
