Namecoin GUI stalled

Hi,

my namecoin-qt gui wallet is stalled on block 150,284. (not sure if the specific block is relevant, but anyway)
I tried a few things, but no luck.

it says: "warning: displayed transactions may not be correct! you may need to upgrade, or other nodes may need to upgrade."

I'm pretty sure I have the latest version (0.3.72), but I guess maybe somehow an older file is getting in the way?

One possible clue is this line from db.txt:
"Program version 4.8 doesn't match environment version 4.7"

delete nameindex.dat (if i could make a sticky it would say do this first) - maybe soon

(if of course your have free space )

people got stuck around block 150k as this was hard fork block.. so is probably related.

First of all, open the debugger window and issue a "getinfo" command. What does it say?

I'm currently redownloading the blockchain on a fresh install. I'm sure I already tried this, but so far so good. I'll post the debug log if that fails.

thanks guys, I'm not sure what was wrong but I fixed it with a fresh install and redownloading the entire blockchain.

i also had the same problem and i was told to delete my nameindex.dat file. but that alone did not work for me either.

I essentially did what you did and just deleted everything in C:\...\ApplicationData\Namecoin (except the wallet.dat file of course ) and restarted. Client synced up just fine after that.
