Namecoin Forum

I tried for quite a while to set up a Namecoin wallet and address on my Mac. I only have limited Linux experience, but with some online tutorials managed to get Litecoin mining working.

I've downloaded and installed namecoinj, downloaded namecoin_osx64 and namecoind.

./namecoind gives me the message: ./namecoind: cannot execute binary file
And with ./namecoin_osx64 I get ./namecoin_osx64: Permission denied

Any suggestions?

Try that before : chmod a+x namecoin_osx64
