It may be a bit unnecessary, because the difficulty isn't very high, but it's great for CPU miners :p

Even back when I was mining bitcoins on deepbit (not anymore!), I would still get shares every once in awhile. Admittedly, I was also using the ufasoft miner which is considerably faster.

Please post the exact command line you are using to run the miner. What namecoin address are you using?
