When i format the pc, how do i save my namecoins?

How do i transfer Namecoins? with bitcoins i have a program ( bitcoin.exe ), what must i use in Namecoin?

Just pointed a miner to bitparking pool. So what is the proper wallet maintenance here? Are the namecoins I mine stored in the wallet? Do I need to withdraw them from the pool and move them to the wallet? Someone made reference to the names being "refreshed" from the pool if you don't withdraw them. Leaving you with zero....any truth to that.
