Time to get a hard one

Post by Sven »

Its time for Namecoin to get a real nice hard one, its flaccidness on the charts is ever worrying, something truly innovative must be built again, I suggest domain names should have associated balances which expire and get recycled back to the miners, it will be the first coin to re-circulate all a̶v̶a̶i̶l̶a̶b̶l̶e̶ un-renewed coin supply continuously, making the water a little less stagnant for this cool but potentially awesome coin.

Today is the heliacal rising of the star Sirius, and is associated with Osiris, the God of resurrection in ancient Egyptian thought, and this is the perfect day to start a novel proposal hack for a Namecoin hard fork named OSIRIS based on the principle of recycling un-renewed coins. The concept of expiration is already present in NMC but instead of wallets that expire, are domain names, the basic idea of OSIRIS is that un-renewed or forever lost coins due to lost private keys are recycled back into the ecosystem, rewarding them to miners at their expiration date. Does anyone feel betrayed by the lack of general interest and fresh ideas around this coin and is concerned that their investment will disappear soon as it seems to sink ever more into the mud as time passes? Does any one want to join forces and fabricate a hardfork that would make their NMC investment float and survive in the challenging waves of the present sea of crypto novelty?Image

3 points here:
  1. Creating a 2nd thread just because no one cared about your 1st thread constitutes spamming and will result in sanctions.
  2. It's not a lack of interest in fresh ideas; it's just that no one finds your drug-induced James Comey impressions to be fresh, nor worth their time.
  3. The Namecoin forum is not an appropriate venue to promote your shitcoin.
As such, this thread is now locked, and a warning is being issued.
