My git experience is very limited. But https://github.com/namecoin/namecoin/tree/namecoin-qt currently is an outdated side branch. Why should it's commits be in the Q branch?

The Q branch is completely free and disconnected from the rebase branch (https://github.com/khalahan/namecoin/tr ... merge_v0.8) so I don't see how there can be a problem with it.

BTW: In case anybody wonders why I call it Q and not Qt: 1.) v0.8 could also be called Qt. 2.) There has been confusion about the new GUI version containing or not containing a daemon - yes it does.

That's actually a good point about the terminology, thanks for pointing it out.

I don't think Moa even looked at the commit... also i don't think he even realizes or remembers that the main branch was dead as was the project when we started lol

I edited threads to hopefully prevent people "assuming" the namecoin-qt repo is official .. I also linked to the new repo/official threads
