Figure above is vulnerable to name registration DoS, which can spike difficulty.

May be need to separate emission/transaction namecoin mining and domain oprations mining.

I am having difficulty following your logic.

Would you please state what specifically problem your proposal solves, and how it solves it? What is the logical progression from problem->solution?

Thank you. It's nice to see someone else enthusiastic about namecoin. :)

I am happy that someone replied )))

The problems:

1. Coins are destroyed (subj).

I am silent about this phenomenom itself. But miners verify the domain transactions and they must be interested in this process, so they must be rewarded. Coins must go to miners, but following tricky way to avoid inflation.

2. Domain registration fee constantly decreases and have no feedback with domain registration activity. When it reach zero (~80000 block). namecoin DB will be spam hell. Also updates are free and nobody pays for these trans processed by miners.

Domain registration fee is the fundamental value which must not be taken from sky. It is fundamental like difficulty and must have a feedback with network (registration) activity, like difficulty has.

3. Developers must not intrude in (2) value or algo. Market should decide it.
