Customization

Bitcoin based crypto currencies are supported by default - just specify your target mainnet or testnet version when setting up HW-1, and addresses will be generated and checked against those domains.

Different form factors and graphical personalizations are available - choose the one that suits you best
Did anybody tried how it works with Namecoin ?
----------------
2. They are also some discussions about Trezor support of Namecoin:
https://github.com/namecoin/namecoin/issues/148
Trezor is awailable for Bitcoin.
--------------
3. Mycelium is also developing a Smartcard Bitcoin client.
They are in the final stage of development.

----------------------------------------
Any other smartcard projects ?

I don't know how these devices handle signing, but it's likely that NameID could be rigged to work with them. Worst case, you would just ask them to sign a nonce transaction with nonexistent inputs, which wouldn't produce a mineable transaction but would be usable by NameID authentication. Maybe Daniel can chime in here.

I also don't know about these devices, but the suggestion of signing a "fake" input seems like a workable strategy (when updating the NameID protocol accordingly).
