Namecoin Website Design Contest

must be submitted until 2012, june 24
we might have a vote on the designs (forum members before this post are entitled)
designs can be hosted for presentation wherever you like or at my server (send to me)

Ok, here are my comments (including my wife's comment too) on what can be improved :p

- blocks in blocks render strange (for "Namecoin projects"). Maybe using another style for sub-blocks would be better.
- blocks have different heights (those which are side by side) so there is no balance (same in my raw template :p)
- header background is too simple (uniform blue)
- right side of header could be a place where we can put some informations
- there is no menu (a left div or horizontal one under the header or at the top inside the header ?)
- the subtitle should be bigger (should we repeat something similar to the first sentence of the block "What is Namecoin" oàr not ?)

I guess we'll need to reorganize blocks positions too, but later.
Aim of the front page is to give minimal informations and redirect to more. But it must be simple, clear in one glance (and what the template show me now, is that it's not the case, so we must still work one the content too).

Using php is not a problem. If we really need html for performances, we could automatically generate cached pages.
