[Announce] NamecoinUs Project

I've finished basic work on a new system to map .bit domains to the "old" Internet DNS system called NamecoinUs. It is similar concept as other projects, in that example.bit => example.namecoin.us.

Features:
* Works with both A and NS Namecoin records. (With NS records it mirrors the authoritative A result.)
* Synchronized with the Namecoin network every 5 minutes.
* Inline proxying when you use "example.bit.namecoin.us" (notice the extra ".bit") (Experimental)
* Completely distributed DNS network, multiple data centers.
* GeoIP with Anycast IP routing, 99.9999% uptime.
* All tier 1 bandwidth providers, multi-gigabit connectivity.
* Records served from ram, super fast clusters.

Coming someday:
* Statistics with graphs and stuff.
* Opt-in/out [if this is wanted?] for domain owners
* Random Namecoin sites
* Featured Namecoin sites
* Info for admins about using namecoin domains

There are six nameserver clusters you can use: ns0.namecoin.us, ns1.namecoin.us, ns2.namecoin.us, ns3.namecoin.us, ns4.namecoin.us, ns5.namecoin.us

Update: Inline proxying is enabled again but is restricted to *.bit domains. I had a Google bot have a hay day earlier, so doing this to keep things small until everything is more stable. This means includes to javascript/css that are on non .bit domains will not be loaded.

Just added a web-based whois tool for Namecoin domains to go along with the new whois server...
