ZERO connections.
switched the pool to btcmining.

My other namecoind that I don't do mining on still has connections.

As a workaround try to add master01.masterpool.eu to your bitcoin.conf and seed from there:

Exactly what version of namecoind are you running in each case?

All cases I had to delete the .namecoin/ folder and start over like I was running the namcoind for the first time and building the database to get connections again.
I was running 2 with v 3.24 and 2 with 3.24.60.
It took hours and I was mining BTC for that time but got it working.
