Namecoin logo licensing

Right now the Namecoin logo is under a license that I suspect is legally equivalent to "all rights reserved". Would everyone be okay with licensing the Namecoin logo under CC-BY-SA 4.0? (I believe it's technically Phelix's call, and AFAIK he's fine with licensing it under whatever we decide to use.)

IIRC I have already transfered all rights to the logo to the Namecoin project. If not, I hereby do it.

Looks like there's reasonably widespread agreement. I'll give it another week, and if no one has NACKed by that point, I'd say the decision is official.

So I just realized that if the logo is licensed under a SA license, then the logo can't be used in MIT-licensed software such as Namecoin Core or Electrum-NMC. (Technically we would still be allowed to distribute either of them as the copyright holders, but anyone besides us wouldn't be allowed to distribute or fork Namecoin Core or Electrum-NMC.)

Therefore, I'm retracting my recommendation for CC-BY-SA 4.0, and instead recommending CC-BY 4.0. @Jonas, @Daniel, @Cassini, @Phelix, is this okay?

ACK also for non-SA. (I generally prefer copyleft-type licenses, but in this case this makes sense as you rightly pointed out.)

ACK. Actually I'm a great fan of CC-BY. If someone creates derivative works of a CC-BY-licensed piece of artwork and then chooses a commercial or a non-SA license it still helps spread the word about the original project or artist.
