This observation can have one of these causes:

(a) your Namecoin client automatically uses two different Namecoin addresses for creating a name (or domain name). You own both addresses. This is because creating a new name creates two blockchain transactions: a name_new transaction, and a name_firstupdate transaction.
Later on, if you update your domain then it goes to a third address. If you update it again then it goes to a fourth address, a.s.o.
You are the owner of all these Namecoin addresses. The wallet.dat file of your Namecoin client contains all the private keys for these addresses.

OR

(b) your domain name is older than 36000 blocks (six months approximately) and already expired. Maybe somebody else then took your old domain name. In this case the domain name does not belong to you anymore.
In other words, you have to update your domain name at least once every 6 months.

You should use https://namecoin.webbtc.com/ for searching the Namecoin blockchain.
Our old explorer at http://explorer.namecoin.info/ is out of date. It can still be used for binary blockchain inspection, but not for domain names or id names.
