What happened with the Namecoin alert mailing list?

At https://namecoin.info/cgi-bin/mailman/l ... ecoin.info I just get a 404 now.

Looks like it was never used for any alerts but ended up being silently deleted, just like the first namecoin alert list I signed up for.

What's the best way to keep up to date on important namecoin issues now?

I don't know for certain, but it looks like the following is used now:

My understanding is that the list on namecoin.info's mailman was on Khalahan's server. Khalahan retired a while back and stopped maintaining that server, which caused the mailman script to stop working. Joseph is correct, the Google group is now what we're using. Apologies for the confusion.

Khal has credentials for this account, too. I would be happy to pass them to somebody else from the team.
