This is certainly an issue. However, the wiki is being replaced by Namecoin.info for end users, so this won't be as big a problem as it would be otherwise. But yes, someone should add some spam controls.

This is correct. But the wiki from namecoin.info points to dot-bit.org.

What is the current status of the wiki? Right now I believe it's the only centralized place for end users to get information, so cleaning it up is pretty important. I've taken it upon myself to address some of it (by prepending "SPAM" to the names). I'd *like* to receive permissions that allow me to delete the offending pages, but geeze, 16000 pages... really we need to roll back or nuke everything created during the spampocalypse, but until that solution is in place I'm willing to do some manual work. Is anyone able to give me permissions to do that?
