What port should I open in firewall?

What port should I open in firewall to get more than 8 connections to support power of namecoin network?
For bitcoin its 8333 as I know.

Depends on the port you set on bitcoin.conf I think. The guide says to use rpcport=8336 so I just went with that but I think you can use any port you want. I've never gotten more than 8 connections though.

No. in bitcoin.conf you can only config rpc port.
I am asking about another port to get more then 8 connectioions.
There are 600 connections currently in my bitocin client. I want to see something like this in namecoin client too

You can use "upnp=1" in the config file if your router supports it (it will auto open the port). Otherwise, p2p port is 8334.
