Ok, I see, I really didn't get you last time. That's nothing I have thought about so far, and it is not in my control - the owner of namecoin.org (which is not the official site, BTW) would need to implement it. Since NameID is a free project, everyone can set up their own server to provide this service using my code.

It would also be possible to set up OpenID delegation by just inserting a few lines of code to redirect namecoin.org OpenID-logins to nameid.org, I think, but also that's nothing I've been thinking about myself so far. In the end, the goal should be to get rid of OpenID and authentication servers anyway, and support Namecoin logins at each webservice directly.

Btw. I've discussed with Khalahan and Pitbull the last time in IRC and Khalahan and i think its very confusing for visitors to see that many sites are existing about Namecoin. More familiar is using namecoin.org and i think all the people should work together. As far as i know Khalahan told me that Namecoin.org will be transfered to the Namecoin foundation, but it doesnt exist at the moment and Pitbull agrees to use the domain name. I think if the team has full access to the SSH server connected to namecoin.org, there is no problem.

I would love to see your code at the official site because i think people would trust Namecoin more than a "unknown" site Nothing against your project - its really good!

It also changes the IP address, but I hope that it will be up again soon (the DNS entries have already been corrected - I'll update the .bit domains, too, but for now they won't work as they still point to the old IP). Side note: Also the test-net node IP I posted will be replaced, as this node runs on the same server.

BTW, as I just saw this: The server is back up and running, but the .bit domains haven't yet been updated. I'll do so soon, however, I'll use the "import" feature newly implemented into nmcontrol in order to prevent updating a host of names in the future if the IP changes again. So you need a recent nmcontrol in order to use the .bit domains.

I'll fix some minor warnings they produce and push for full review a bit later. If that's done, I'll also link to the Mozilla page from the website.

I just enabled DNSSEC for nameid.org. Since I've not much experience with this stuff, if anyone spots a problem with my setup, let me know!
