Re: hash/s at 0?
Windows 7 is my OS. So I'm using GUIMiner and I have it running at a setting whcih does 90Mhash/s... but when I type "namecoind getinfo" or "namecoind gethashsespersec" I'm showing 0 in the command prompt window. This is normal. If you use an external miner the hashes per second reported in the GUI...

Re: Namecoin <-> BTC Exchange
Trading NMC is actually more fun than trading BTC. Watching the market for buy orders that come in at a decent price, and placing a stack of NMC way higher than the highest buy order then waiting for someone to buy it. I'm placing my lots on at no lower than 0.007 BTC per NMC :) It's interesting be...

Re: Namecoin <-> BTC Exchange
Basically I sent 2 lots of 50 NMC to NBSuqd75w1bfo7fnfEPXogBChbnWpj7cbc The first lot went through okay, obviously, but the 2nd lot has not shown up. I've fixed this, no problem. You should have the 50 NMC appearing. I will eventually fix the deposits so the one transaction per address limitation g...

Re: Namecoin <-> BTC Exchange
Judging by sales made, it looks like the exchange rate is 200 NMC to 1 BTC at worst. Does NMC sell well (quickly) if you put it up for sale at that sort of price ? The exchange hasn't been up for long enough to tell really. But 0.005 BTC for 1 NMC seems cheap so I can't imagine it not selling. Ther...

Re: Namecoin <-> BTC Exchange
Good idea, I've added this. It shows 'Waiting' if nothing has been received and "Pending deposit of xx" if it has received 0 confirmations.khal wrote: Suggestion : display incoming funds with 0 confirmation as "pending funds : xx".

Re: Blocks found - zero balance (cmd newbie)
However, I ran "./namecoind getinfo" only to see that I had zero balance. This will never show the value of immature blocks as you can't spend the coins so it isn't reflected in the balance. You want 'listtransactions'. That will show 'immature' for immature blocks in the transaction and 'generated...

Namecoin <-> BTC Exchange
I've written an exchange to allow buying and selling namecoins for bitcoins. it's in development but works and I'm opening it up for wider use to get more feedback and find/fix bugs. If you want to try trading your namecoins on the exchange, you can go to https://exchange.bitparking.com and try it o...
