Re: Runaway exception when starting Namecoin client (Windows

Also note that it may be possible that even with the same versions files are not portable between different operating systems. I'll soon find out, as I'm installing from git on both now. If the problem persists, I'll assume it's incompatibility due to differing OS'. If that's the case I'll have to ...

How do I run the namecoin I built from git?

Hi,

I'm building identical versions of Namecoin from the git repo in both Windows & Linux.

I finished building the namecoind from the git repo in Linux, but when I look in the dir it created in ~, I don't see an executable to make a launcher for.

How do I run it?

Thanks,
-F

Which files to delete to rebuild database?

Hi,

I have an error in my client & would like to rebuild the blockchain from scratch.

Just to be sure I do it right, which files do I delete to do this?

Thanks,

Runaway exception when starting Namecoin client (Windows)

Hi, I've been running the Namecoin client in Windows 7 x86_64 with no problems until I shared the /Users/username/AppData/Roaming/Namecoin directory with a Virtualbox machine running linux. My intent was to run a command line app which only runs in linux in that machine using the same wallet & block...

Re: A local namecoin proxy to implement most of the draft sp

I'm not getting how to install this. When I try to install from source, I do: ./build.sh <~/software_source_packages/node-v0.10.31.tar.gz> /usr/bin & get: /usr/bin is a directory I thought you give it a path to the node tarball, & a path to openssl. What do I have to do to make that work? Also, when...

OpenNIC not resolving properly & .pe showing old version

Hi, When I visit my site(s) via the DNS server I have set on my system (OpenNIC), the webserver isn't seeing the domain name the visitor is visiting, and as such the vHosts configuration isn't working correctly- the root of /var/www gets displayed instead of the webserver delivering up the right roo...

Re: Domains not resolving

I've updated the JSON values to their default, & after a week or so waiting, now they're resolving via the .pe proxy suffix. Seems it was just a matter of providers updating their database. I still have problems with OpenNIC not providing the domain name to the server so that vHosts don't work right...

Re: Client not broadcasting transactions automatically

0.005 But it's working now, at 3am. No hanging on even name_new. Which is a first. I'm happy that it's working now, but it certainly wasn't earlier in the week. I waited 35-45 minutes that time I tried earlier. Maybe that's normal? I guess it _is_ the issue the new version fixed after all. Glad to b...

I found this, which lists some options I'll give a shot.
