Getting ready for a >GH/s test...
... Ran for about 25 minutes, found 3 BTC blocks. Stales at about 2%, not bad for 3 block changes in 20 mins!
No NMC blocks.

Re: [ALPHA.masterpool.eu] Merged Mining Test Server - TESTNE
Ok, web is back... I'll try again...
[Edit: It seems I can't reach the web interface from the ip the miners are on, when they are mining. Works fine thru a proxy.]

Re: [ALPHA.masterpool.eu] Merged Mining Test Server - TESTNE
Thanks for setting this up again. What username / password do I use?
Tried "signiing up" - but haven't received any email, so I tried my main pool login, but that didn't work either!

Re: Merged mining block number
Risky for who? Just that blocks will be being found very quickly. At 22176, even if all bitcoin miners stay with namecoin, it will be 4x slower, then another 4x .... My guess is they'll jump off again. Then they'll come back as pools implement support for merged. Probably smaller pools first, then ...

Re: Merged mining block number
Block 21,000 will be right in the middle of the next surge - which seems very risky to me.
If we're not going to go for a block before 20160, we should definitely go for one after 22176.
I like 20000 for before or 22300 (22176+120+a bit) for after.
