An Interface(client) like this from bitcoin isn´t available?

I would like to use the a kind of bitcoin-interface(client).
I can´t find my NC-balance - How do I can ask for it?
Or how to compile or to configuate it?

If I enter:
namecoind.exe getinfo
I get the message,
error: couldn't connect to server
What´s wrong?

That means it runs at the moment on ca. 7% of the difficult from bitcoins.
Am I right?

What´s the max. level of coins or blocks?
On wich level is the difficult percentaully? 10% or 20% maybe 40%?
