Re: Multi Cryptocoin Payment Processing [Public Beta]

Made another payment attempt. This time the payment was processed correctly as the time frame is open for 4 hours. While I like the idea that we can now use a great variety of altcoins for paying for goods and services, the software flaw I had experienced raises a few questions: Why was there such a...

Re: Multi Cryptocoin Payment Processing [Public Beta]

I've just tried to make a NMC payment via coinpayments.net. First the good news: NMC are accepted again (after being suspended due to the fork) and my payment was recognized for a while. Now the bad news: this is either a very serious bug, or a clever rip-off scheme. I hope it is the former. After l...

Re: DNS problems

If you apply the method as described in
http://dot-bit.org/How_To_Browse_Bit_Domains
but use bitmaster's DNS server 95.211.195.245 instead of khal's
then http://t100.bit/ resolves perfectly.

Re: NMC price charts

Yes, I'll add NMC/USD charts in this week. Excellent. ETA? And is there a parameter for displaying more candlesticks on the page (without changing the size of the panel)? Like what you get at bitcoincharts.com from the 2min./1min. setting, e.g.: http://bitcoincharts.com/charts/bitstampUSD#rg2zig1-m...

Re: Domains in other languages?

The Internationalized Domain Name system already works for .bit domains. "xn--" is our magic word. (For the definition of IDN, IDNA, ACE, and Punycode, these abbreviations are often confused but usually refer to names starting with "xn--", see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internationalized_domain_na...

The current spam problem in the wiki

9000 fake user accounts and 16000 spam pages, see http://dot-bit.org/Special:Statistics 500 new spam pages during the last three hours alone: http://dot-bit.org/mediawiki/index.php?title=Special:RecentChanges&limit=500 The wiki server may run out of space soon. Is there really nothing we can do abou...

Re: Wit's end with registering domains: can't reach them

This is only an observation, and I am not sure if this has anything to do with it: When I enter http://ghostwriterintl.com/ in the address field of any browser, it automatically switches to http://www.ghostwriterintl.com/ Maybe the .bit enabled DNS servers/proxies can't handle this. It's been ages a...

viewtopic.php?p=6861&sid=4e5a780dc03d9bc5ab44c317e780be38#p6861 Link doesn't work for me. Is it this one: http://dot-bit.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1305&p=6861#p6861 EDIT: ok, biolizard89's link does indeed work. Thanks to virtual_master who pointed out it is a .bit link. Even the combination of...

Oops, sorry. The original URI is:
http://www.radio.bit/
Furthermore, this example works only if it's 178.32.31.41 in the dns settings.
