Re: Net Neutrality - things are about to get seroiuse

Interesting background ... but are the namecoin community advocating an Equal or Equitable outcome? ... see attached cartoon as to the difference ... sometimes when trying to communicate a negotiating posture, a conceptual figure/diagram can help simplify the debate (even if technically erroneous). ...

Re: Is there any way to implement the namecoin protocol to:

And about shares One of the advantages could be that when you hold a nmc-share made of 0.01 nmc you actually have something of value, unlike those shares on cryptostocks that are nothing more than thin air. Or if you don't want the shares to have any value (you don't want your shares be dumped on a...

Re: ICANN new domain name .pid

It may be an access/point for very specific purposes. To give an example, I was working through the nature of authority/power in a decentralised ICT co-operative. For example, we want to ensure that discounts only accrue to members or affiliates. firstly the .nz indicates a particular jurisdiction g...

Re: Madsafe(safecoin), a new concurrent or a new application

wow ... the "crowd"-funding sounds like an edge case for regulatory supervision ... most advanced countries have laws on prizes, lotteries and general financial raising just because of the potential for scams and market failures (pump & dump is economic tort or outright fraud in some cases). It also...

If you are trying to sell the name to the person with the same name, I would call this ABUSE, pure and simple. on the other...

Re: Namecoin listed in 21 things that will ......

I'm glad they mentioned smart contracts. But what puzzles me is that last I heard, the author/proponent was working for google so I would have liked to hear something more tangible. Now it may all be a skunkworks project with go-lang being syntactically pristine as a language foundation to deploy it...
