Re: Forum blocking IP addresses
One of my Internet connections is also blocked from the Namecoin forum. I would strongly encourage removing those bans (particularly against Tor), otherwise our reputation as a pro-privacy project will suffer. If it would be a decentralized forum (a working forum.bit only) or anonymous on tor than ...

Re: Forum blocking IP addresses
It happened to me by trying the registration to the litecoin forum that I mistyped my email address and I couldn't registrate with another user name telling me that I cannot have 2 accounts. Validation of the former registered account was also impossible because of the mistyped email what I entered ...

Re: Namecoin-Qt BETA with Namespace Registration 3.67

Re: Private keys
I would be very nervous about trusting a non-HTTPS site for brainwallets, even if the coder is trustworthy, since it is impossible to verify that the code your browser gets from an HTTP site is actually the code on the server. That is true. But HTTPS is better only if has a valid certificate otherw...

Re: Private keys
Welcome on the Namecoin forum. If you have a wallet with namecoin addresses start namecoind and in another terminal: namecoind dumpprivkey [namecoin address] to find out the private key to a specific address. If you want to import: importprivkey [namecoinprivkey] If you create a brain wallet from a ...

Re: Speech.is, breaking out of the alt TLD niche
Hmmm.
Very unusual idea.
But if you make a practical demonstration we would understand it better.
A graphical illustration could also help.

Retroshare Namecoin integration
I think integrating Namecoin in Retroshare would have even more impact than the integration in Bitmessage. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RetroShare http://retroshare.sourceforge.net "RetroShare is a Open Source cross-platform, Friend-2-Friend and secure decentralised communication platform. It lets ...
