From where your namecoind executable is, enter (in a terminal):

namecoind listtransactions

that will show the state of your transactions

namecoind getinfo
or
namecoind getbalance

these will show the state of your wallet

I wouldn't be at all surprised if one or more of the BTC pools switches sides.

It's supposed to do that.... running namecoind.exe will look like it has hung and will not accept inputs... that terminal session is now the server Open up another terminal session, CD to the namecoin folder.
