PPS for namecoins is enabled and will be enabled for BTC when merged mining starts.

Re: Merged Mining Test Failed with pushpool
I currently have poolserverj confirmed working with merged-mining-proxy from the .63 namecoin source. (both namecoind and bitcoind built from it) Yeah I know I'm the guy paying him. I've got about 6 bitcoin blocks and 3 namecoin on the testnet. On a side note: I've noticed though that while the bit...

Re: Namecoin 3.21.90 releases [obsolete, update to 0.3.24.63
Did not understand it was a script - thought it was binary. A long time ago someone invented something called... an extension. I think it was for identifying file types.doublec wrote:https://github.com/vinced/namecoin/blob ... mine-proxyDavincij15 wrote:where is the source code for merged-mine-proxy?

Re: Merged Mining Test Failed with pushpool
It would seem this is false... http://dot-bit.org/Merged_Mining Can I use pushpoold? Yes. nodemaster already did a quick test and it seems to work. Just point you pushpoold to a properly configured merged-mine-proxy instead of namecoind. if you change this... # rewrite returned 'targe...

Re: Merged mining block number - 19200 - must upgrade
I have a new release here: https://github.com/vinced/namecoin/tree/nc0.3.24.63 This version corrects the timetravel (2015-2016 retarget) bug starting at the first retarget after block 19200. This version will fork testnet at block 4032 (second retarget). I believe we are safe from timetravel with t...

Merged Mining Test Failed with pushpool
Can anyone confirm if I can use merged-mine-proxy with pushpool? My tests show that pushpool rewrites the share and then is unable to find any blocks. Disabling rewrite works however nothing is stored to the database. The same happens with poolserverj.
Can anyone confirm this?

Re: 51% Attack - Countermeasure Roundup
I did not go crazy. Shinning the light on a plan is the best way to determine it's merit. I talked to other people in the community and conclude that the plan was flawed.

Re: Namecoin is Prime for a 51% attack
@Davinci As someone with as limited knowledge as you have in MySQL, Linux and Pool operations I will simply overlook you as being frustrated. Everyone seems to say you are a good guy. This isn't about destruction, it's about making Bitcoin better and even NMC if it survives the fire. You guys shoul...
