Re: [Brainstorming] Namecoin SPV

Wouldn't it be better to implement a true UTXO? There was a number of discussions on BitCoin forum that resulted in a semi-workable proposal. Re: Automated Build

I've tried editing again, but, unfortunately, still no luck. It shows a box with the text "Unchecked" at the top right and does not show any "Edit" or similar links/buttons on the main page or at Build Namecoin from Source However, when I click on the "Unchecked" link it does show an "Edit" button a...

Here is what I'd suggest WARNING: this method uses the latest development code from the git repo. It that may be UNT...

Re: Automated Build

I've made the most recent NameCoin trunk version compile on CentOS and submitted a pull request to incorporate the changes in the trunk. The key issue to get it compile and run on CentOS (and I'm guessing RedHat) is that the OpenSSL version that ships with RedHat/CentOS is missing some of ECC intial...

Re: darkreading article on SSL & PKI

Indeed, problems with SSL/PKI are getting worse by a day. There is another good article at https://www.tbray.org/ongoing/When/201x/2014/07/09/Disrupting-the-cert-business I've left a comment there... NameCoin is the solution. We just need to accelerate and push forward, which I personally try to do.
