Re: Simplifying fee structure

I would like to propose a simplification of the fee structure. Note that I'm talking about ordinary transaction fees here, not costs of names. (Only as much as transaction fees are part of the name cost.) In particular, a big difference between Namecoin and Bitcoin is that Namecoin has a "special r...

Re: Encryption Spec Requirements

So, this has been talked about a lot on IRC, but I figure it's good to gather all in one place: Encryption of name/value data is useful for preventing automated scraping of data which users may not want to be entirely public. Filecoin http://filecoin.org/ Filecoin is a storage-based cryptocurrency. Rather than mining with computing power, miners provide a data storage service to other users. Filecoin is based on a Bitcoin-like blockchain to keep track of the currency and to index the files being stored by users, as well ...

I thought from datacoin will be something but they are on the 211. position now with $ 26,642 market volume. By their developmen...

Re: Multiwalletcoin

A multi-coin client would have to be careful to avoid the user accidentally sending 100 BTC instead of 100 NMC, etc. There is some discussion on GitHub about Armory doing this, I think, but I don't think the Armory developers are particularly interested in it (or rather, they have higher priorities...
