Re: Anyone want a namecoin pool?
I haven't had any luck with the bitparking pool. I'm using jgarzik's cpu miner, and even after running it for 24 hours or so, I didn't get a single share. Please post the exact command line you are using to run the miner. What namecoin address are you using? Plenty of people are using jgarzik's min...

Re: Namecoin fallback nodes
In the interests of transparency we should probably post somewhere who those IP's belong to that are hard-coded into namecoin. Edit: Where can I find those IP's in the code? thnx. One of them is mine. I volunteered to be the first seed node since I run namecoind on a 24x7 server. It should be 69.16...

It's namecoin.cpp line 1446. Do you start/stop your client often?moa wrote:doublec wrote: Where in the code is that, would be good to fix it?

Re: someone elses SetBestChain
I don't see any of this type of thing in any of my namecoin logs (on 4 different machines). What version of the client are you running?moa wrote: or are we all clueless?

Re: A CPU Miner that works with Vista and the bitparking poo
The Ufasoft miner works just fine on my Vista machine, and I've used it to mine bitcoins without problems. But the bitparking pool does not support that miner for whatever reason. I plan to get Ufasoft's miner working, it just does things slightly differently to every other miner and requires a bit...

Re: Namecoin <-> BTC Exchange
are you keeping the data for exchange close for the day ... or highs and lows? It would be good to get this charted eventually so will need the data for that. I keep a record of everything so this data can be computed from the database. I agree that charts would be good and I'm keen to add them. Or...
