Re: Registrar Community Engagement

I run the .bit registrar dotbit.me , whose raison d'etre is to be a quick and easy way for new users to get into namecoin and the .bit name space. I hope and believe I have accomplished just that and been a small but positive addition to the namecoin community. The recent Chrome extension , the bloc...

Re: Tiny open source Chrome extension for surfing .bit sites

Thanks for your reply. The extension is a simple and quick solution to getting people surfing .bit. It is not a long term solution and as you mention, I do not want to be connected to anything illegal anyone puts up on a .bit site. But short term it's more or less a question of keeping namecoin and ...

Re: Tiny open source Chrome extension for surfing .bit sites

Thanks! Regarding the domains, there's been a few sales but nothing of any high value (some of the domains are for sale for crazy figures).

Re: Dotbit.me trade section: Sell your .bit domains

Sorry for not replying sooner!

Yes, we verify ownership. The domain needs to be in the account of the seller (owned by the dotbit.me namecoin address assigned to the seller).

There's been a few sales but none of those ridiculously prices ones.

New namecoin block explorer on dotbit.me

After a lot of work I am happy to announce a new namecoin block explorer on dotbit.me. I have lots of features on my to-do list but the basics are there, including name info for blocks and transactions.

I hope it will prove useful.

Regards,
Tagide

Dotbit.me trade section: Sell your .bit domains

Hi, You can now put your .bit domains for sale at dotbit.me and charge in Bitcoin, Litecoin, Namecoin, Peercoin or Primecoin. There is currently no commission on domain sales. Sales are immediate as the buyer will have to fund his dotbit.me account with enough coins before a sale will go though. Tra...
