Re: Namecoin graphics

Git is good. Well since this was put off topic already, and it does not look like I will get any help with graphics anytime soon. I thought I would comment on this. I have tried to use git since it seem to be the choice of the community. I have wasted more time trying to get git to do what I think ...

testnet and some questions.

I had made some changes that I wanted to test on testnet. It has been going very slowly as I only have a laptop and no one answered my call for help on the irc channel. If you look at block 23013 and the ones I looked at before this, they are under 1k. http://testnet.explorer.dot-bit.org/b/7cb03c259...

Re: spam should be removed

The flooders seems to ruin everything they can. It would be nice to see it gone, but that does require someone to have the time to put in doing that.

Re: Namecoin 3.21.90 releases [obsolete, update to 0.3.24.63

A validation bug was found by lukejr. Please see http://dot-bit.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=338 . great! will this require a change to the block chain and thus an upgrade by x blocks? I would assume so. An immediate upgrade is required by everybody. This is not a change to the validation rules. I...

Re: Namecoin 3.21.90 releases [obsolete, update to 0.3.24.63

An immediate upgrade is required by everybody. This is not a change to the validation rules. It is a missing validation rule and that is why it has to be applied immediately. If you don't upgrade an attacker can cause you to get on an invalid fork of the chain and can rewrite the past since the las...

Re: Merged Mining Test Failed with pushpool

I currently have poolserverj confirmed working with merged-mining-proxy from the .63 namecoin source. (both namecoind and bitcoind built from it) Yeah I know I'm the guy paying him. I've got about 6 bitcoin blocks and 3 namecoin on the testnet. On a side note: I've noticed though that while the bit...
