Re: Windows help

Sounds like it's working fine.

Open another command window (Windows menu -> Run -> "cmd") and navigate to where your namecoind lives - usually by typing

Code: Select all

cd "c:\program files\namecoin"
Then type

Code: Select all

namecoind getinfo
and you should see some output.

Re: Namecoin is Prime for a 51% attack

So, thinking about checkpoints.... I could add (nHeight == 19001 && hash != uint256("0x00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001")) to my client, wait for nodemaster, or other trusted miner to declare the hash for block 19001, and update my client, adding (nHeight == 19002 &&...

So, 160 blocks to go. That's about 3 weeks.

Would you wait that long?

Re: Namecoin is Prime for a 51% attack

Ok, I don't know much, but... We don't have to fight this. All we have to do is wait it out. BitcoinExpress will fork the chain & aim to get a load of blocks in front of the existing chain, then release his chain on the network. Clients will take his chain (it's the biggest), and carry on as normal....

Re: COINOTRON - ALL coins + new worker type: AUTO

I see SolidCoin Assorted Graphs now has a "Pool Reported Hash Rate". Coinotron would be a comfortable second place.

(note on page says:
I'm having trouble page-scraping coinotron, asked op for api

Re: COINOTRON - ALL coins + new worker type: AUTO

I was just watching my workers.

Auto is giving Bitcoin work at the moment, 0.88 ratio, so looking good.

EDIT: Just noticed you're now showing the difficulties - nice touch!

Re: COINOTRON - ALL coins + new worker type: AUTO

Mining with Diablo, through Flexible Mining Proxy.

So, when profitability ratio for solid is 0.99, you would expect all Auto workers to switch to bit? Didn't observe this.
