Re: Preferred language for NMControl-like things

I'd like to see four different implementations, perhaps five, each in a different language. ;) I dislike Python probably at least as much brandonrobertz dislikes CoffeeScript. Go seems reasonable, and Rust is definitely praiseworthy. That said, if you go with Python, I could help in ways other than ...

Thanks sugarpuff for suggesting it.
Thanks for setting it up! Are both 'meta' and 'lounge' channels active, or are we using only one?

Re: Suggestion: Switch to Slack, Gitter, or OSS equivalent

I see no reason to change that "just because".
Ah, you're right. My bad!

How silly of me for suggesting that.

Suggestion: Switch to Slack, Gitter, or OSS equivalent

Most new/active OSS projects don't use IRC these days, because IRC is inconvenient for most people to use. It was invented in 1988 and it's time to get with the 21st century. People lose messages, sign off before receiving answers, aren't able to search archives, etc. IRC is difficult/clunky to use,...

Re: Namecoin API Server Interface Specification

That said, I'm following this thread and am happy to collaborate on the RESTful API specification, so I'm glad to hear that you'd also like to work together on this. If Namecoin needs anything, it's for people to get along and work together. Not always easy, and I know I'm sometimes responsible for...

Re: Namecoin Dev List

I emailed Ademan a few days ago asking that he transfer the emails, but he has yet to reply. Does anyone have the ability to ping him in another way? Maybe post the link to the new Google Groups list and we manually sign up? https://groups.google.com/forum/m/#!forum/namecoin I just haven't had time...

Re: Namecoin Dev List

What's the deal with the dev list? I sent an email a couple days ago and got an Undeliverable error to namecoin-dev@dot-bit.org: Final-Recipient: rfc822; namecoin-dev+dot-bit.org@srv01.web-sweet-web.net Original-Recipient: rfc822; namecoin-dev_dot-bit.org@srv01.web-sweet-web.net Action: failed Statu...

Re: Namecoin API Server Interface Specification

No one has responded to my last post, which either means it was waaay to long or I said something disastrously stupid. I still am planning on writing a reply to your post, but its length has meant that I've been putting it off while other urgent matters demand my attention. That said, I'm following...
