Re: Security Implications of (Non)Reproducible Middleware Bu

IMO reproducible builds of security relevant software make some sense, because less trust is required of whoever publishes pre-built binaries. There is, however, a point where it stops making sense. That's simply because at some point you have to trust the operating system, the compiler, the librari...

Re: Namecoin Linux download option inaccessible

Or is there another OpenSSL issue?

Re: DNS seeds for Namecore

At some point we will switch the API server node to Namecore. It could be a hard coded node. Also we could set up DNS seeding on the server. Is it difficult to do? Compile and run namecoin-seeder. That's it, basically. If you have a regular DNS server on the same machine you'll need some additional...

Re: Why was my thread locked?

take it easy now. Locking a thread just because you can, based on an assumed rule that has not been written nor advertised and on top of that say nothing to the person affected by such rule is, in a nutshell, rude. Your OP and the bumps can (very) easily be perceived as SPAM. Nobody informs spammer...

Re: DNS seeds for Namecore

I've never used Tor. I suppose it tunnels DNS queries, too? Can you check if this is a DNS problem, or a connection problem?
