You could do quite a few things with the Blockchain, make a separate namespace for the contracts so that you could download only contracts instead of the whole Blockchain, without sacrificing security of your contracts. Namespaced for easy archiving of Contract Hashes.

And that is the beauty of it, you can start your own folder within the Name Hierarchy... why not just use your company name as a namespace and create a personal network from there for yourself. Don't be so negative where there is a will there is a way. We can compile the code for local hosting and go from there as a local portal to the internet.
